Good news everyone. I got the GSX running, it's sounds pretty good for sitting for 6 months. Now to do some tuning and get them body parts and a windsheild. WOOHOO!!!!

So i just went and drove the baby again, and i mean drove it. Gotta love the turbo power in them babies. Anyways seems i cant get hold of the person whom i was supposed to get the part from and now i have a truck to borrow to go up there. So if someone could call around in the Denver area for me and find out if there are any junk yards up there that have the parts i am looking for I would greatly appriciate it. ;) I think I have said before what I need but here goes again: 1g hood, front and rear bumper covers, headlights (pop up) and if we cant find pop ups I will convert it to non-pop ups. I could use all the help I can get at this point, so even if you wanna help put it together let me know. Thanks to you all.

Well i went up to David Lessers house to get the parts. What a drive let me tell ya, not something I would want to do again, but worth it this time because not only did I get the hood, front bumber cover and headlights, he also had the front fenders!! So I now have the entire front clip. And to top it off the front bumber cover has an eagle emblem....so now what do we call it? I am going to leave the emblem on just to confuse people because on the back of the car it says Eclipse GSX......now does this make me a ricer or what?

so how long til you have the body and paint where you want it?

Well it will probably be a long time before I can get it painted so I will just have to drive it around the way it is. Also I am having problems getting the front bumber cover to line up with the fenders. Does anyone know if I have to switch the metal bumber to one off of a talon? After I get that on all I need now is a windsheild, which will probably be a few more weeks till I can afford one.

you'll have to take it out to fit an FMIC in there anyway, so don't even bother putting it in.:p
