Well today I made quite a bit of progress. Finished the cage install finally. So all I have left to do is put the interior back in. which I'm probly going to wait till the clutch is back in.

Now for the fun story. Ok as I'm pulling the t-case off the car this big chunk of the clutch disc hits the ground. I can already tell this is going to be messy. So I pulled the inspection plate and there is nothing but sheered material in the bell housing. Got the clutch out and saw the side closest to the flywheel first. Man it didn't have much material left. Flipped the disc over and there is NO material. The car just sheered the material right off the disc and tossed it around.

Flywheel looks ok but I'm going to have it re-surfaced next week. The new 2900 should be here next week sometime.

Dave - you considered a lightweight flywheel? Launches may be impacted slightly, but the 'revs like a chainsaw' sure is nice...

I tried to drive Hal's car when he had the Jun in there. That is impossible to speed shift and it rev's up too quick for my taste.
