There's a kid that comes down to Bandimere quite often from Cheyenne. His name is Brock and has a dark cherry '90 Talon TSi AWD with a Big 16G and Buschur fmic running a best of 12.8. He's with a local shop up there called "Outlaw". Just thought you might know him, he's a pretty cool kid.

I'm replying to the question and yes, I am from Cheyenne, just post a thread and tell me where you are from. There is also a kid named Will who has a 2g front wheel drive turbo, close to stock also from Cheyenne.

Hey Brock, cool to see you on here. :) I was wondering if you'd join after we told you about rmdsm. Have you talked to that kid yet in that red Honda you know that tried to run in the Street class??

He said he could have run with me but he couldn't hit all of the nitrous because he was on radials. He comes up with a new excuse every time. I talked him in to street racing me finally because I said I would give him 2 cars to make up for him having radials so we will see. I also sent you guys an email and I'm just wondering if you got it. Yes Dave I did run at IRDC, I didn't do very good though. I bumped the boost to 19 but didn't get a good run. My first run a bad launch giving me a 13.4 at 107!. My second run was worse I got a good launch but missed 2nd and then 4th out of frusturation and pulled a 13.9 at 106!. First round I lost to a fellow DSM because once again I pulled a bad launch and couldn't catch him by about 3 or 4 feet. The car is still new to me and I haven't quite found the best way to drive it yet. I'm also scared of breaking something which is why I keep getting the bad launches. I'm hoping the tmo stage 3 setup and some parctice will get me into the low 12's consistently though.

13.4? WTF I thought that it would get quicker. BTW JR was 'pleased' with his 14.1 cause 'I didn't have bars or slicks'. What did you place @ IDRC?

My best time was a 12.8 at a test and tune missin second. I just couldn't get a single solid run. If you read the post before I wrote it tells what happenend. I also raced JR last night in Laramie and got him by about 14 cars. I then raced a guy named toomey with a 10 second camaro on the spray and 12.20's on the motor. I ran him on the motor and he only got me by about a car and half.

The USAF brought me to Cheyenne a year ago, and our newly purchased $400 '93 Talon brought me to this board. After replacing the rear main seal, I found out that the car won't move in any gear. In the middle of troubleshooting before buying a replacement tranny. So, if anyone close by, gets board and wants to tinker...

Can't seem to find a replacement tranny for less that $750. After only paying $400 for the car, I don't want to pay that much for a tranny. Especially in a extra car we bought to drive 'as is' to get better gas mileage. The problem is finding another '93 FWD Auto. I find manuals everywhere, but not into doing the involved swap.
