Does anyone ,or has anyone heard of the Nitrous express intercooler kit? This is where you have a small rail in front of your intercooler that is hooked up to a Nitrous bottle. You can use Co2 also but i guess the N20 is a little cooler. -36 below zero?? I'm not too sure. Well Anyway I have a solenoid that is stuck in the open position. I have used a hammer to "tap" (Not beat) it and it seems to close up a little. Just to the hissing stage where it will let just a little out. My question is, How can I get the whole thing to close completly? This kit is only 3months old and I havent got to play with it much due to it being a pain in the ass, but it seems to be getting better.
- They dont include a way to regulate how much air comes out to the front when armed. So when you hit the trigger it is bottle pressure comming out at 900+ psi. So 2 runs and your bottle is done. I put a small jet from a friends nitrous kit in the front and it helped regulate it quite a bit. I just need a smaller jet and I think It will do. So what do you guys think? Any suggestions? Or am I just lame-0.

I've heard of them and the shop that sponsors me sells them. If putting a smaller jet in their doesn't work then I would try feepinmg the bottle open a little less longer. I was wondering though how much does that kit do for your car.

I would assume on a stock IC it would help you out TONS. But as far as a FMIC I doubt it would make a difference. I know with my core I've never been able to heat soak it.

How about just running a purge line to the IC? Purge onto it for a few seconds prior to a run? Or are you looking for something to spray on the IC as you are running the car?

It would help with an initial less-than-ambient air temp for a FMIC, I'd think...

Well It came with two switches, A purge switch that will spray out of the front and a micro switch that is hooks up to the throttle that only activates under full throttle. So at the line I will purge for two seconds to try to keep it cool and then when going down the track it will spray to keep it cool. I havent had it work consistantly enough to find out if is worth it or not.
