I need to pressure test the Laser..Im willing to bet i have some mad leakin' going on in there. Im actually hoping that maybe it will help my lack of vacuume. Im only getting 9-11 in/hg right now at idle.

Also i need to set my timeing...I read in my book that above 3000ft elevation to set it at 15btc and 10btc below of course. But i need to check that since it hasnt been checked since the first time i rebuilt the head.

But if any one can give me hand and has the tools that would be great.

I just remembered that im in the army...lol...
Any ways we have a decent shop on post that has pretty much everything, and for $3.50 an hour i can use the lift bay and do the rewire and do the pressure test if i make a tester.
Ill have to find out when they are open for me to go there.

well i finally got off my butt and tested the intake for new leaks since i installed the new turbo...first off, at the throttle body, i had 2 leaks, and from the tb elbow to the block it wouldn't hold even 5 psi. from there i tested the upper intercooler pipe, and found a very large leak on the flange for the BOV. i also found a leak on the compressor outlet, and last but not least, the lower intercooler pipe leaked also.

i was wondering why i was getting a puff of black smoke at 6000rpms, thing is, even with all the leaks, i still could take a mustang gt easily. after i break in the new clutch, im gonna go have some fun.

maybe hamburger stand saturday?
