I installed a Hallman ES MBC last night and I'm getting a few problems. First when my car is cold, it seems, that I get a high pitched squeeking/scraping noise coming from under the hood or somewhere. This goes away after the car drives for a few blocks, but I have no idea where exactly it's coming from. Second, when I was boosting through third on my way to work this morning I had something very strange happen... It was almost like the car just stopped accelerating altogether for a second then started right back up at WOT. I thought it might be the fuel cut but no check engine light came on.
One other question, what the hell do I do with the silly boost control silenoid now that it's just sitting there like a dumbshit?
Help is appreciated,

just let the solenoid hang. It doenst do anything now... As for the noise I would have a friend tap the gas while you have your head under the hood for a look see....
If you were near GOlden i'd help ya but...

It's only when the car is in motion, which makes me think it's the wheels, maybe just a coincidence? need just a good brake scrub? We'll see...

Just got back from lunch, took a friend with me to listen outside the car as I left, but it was obvious because I was parked next to a car and the sound echo'd directly from my front right wheel to my ear, my friend concurred so it appears it's just one of those wierd coincidences... i'll check out the brakes tonight.
The sudden loss of power thing hasn't happened since this morning, but i did turn down the boost a bit just to play it safe.

how much boost are you trying to run? on what turbo? what fuel mods? it may have been fuel cut and there is no CE when you hit it.....i know.:p there is also a spot right around 5k rpms in 2gs where is hestitates for a moment. not to worry, they all do it, and as far as i know....there is nothing that can be done about it. its just one of those things i have noticed in numerous 2gs.
