As some of you may know i spun a few rod bearing and messed up a few other things in my old motor. so i had a good list before, but i have now decided to change it and go with some other stuff, which yes i have already ordered and i am going to be taking it over to the machine shop on monday. So i wanted to here what all of you thought of my *new Engine setup.
Well here is the plain. And parts to go with the plain. hehe
-Je 9:1 compression, with a .020 bore (i realize the compression is kinda high but it was all JE stocked)
-Je rings
-Eagle Rods-good price and quoted for 700+hp.
-Then the whole block is being machined and crank is being grounded. (sorry lack of better term)
-OEM Head gasket
-Arp head studs
-Then for the head i am using 1mm oversize valves and port matching the intake and exhaust gaskets for better folw (obviosly)
-Ferrea Valves BTW
-I am having an Exhaust made i guess. unless someone can find a 3" turbo back for like 250.00
-As far as everything else it's going to remain the same Except
- I got a new clutch ACT 2900 unsprung 6 puc.. I know AXELS oh well it'll be fun..
-I also got an APEXi super afc.
And thats about all. I am hoping to be able to run about 14psi on the street (91octane) and about 18-19 on 104 or maybe some 110.. But who knows it all depents on how much knock and if i start to detonate.
In the next month i plan to get a warboro 255lph and supra TT 550cc fuel injectors. (figures crossed)
I also plan to do a bottle before IDRC. Still working on that though..
