Speed limiter removal

ok I'm thinking about doing this, cutting the yellow wire #86 terminal to the ecu it eliminates the speed limiter on all non-eprom cars. just don't know if I want to do it. I can always put connections on each end and have the option of putting them back together. And its better then trying to do it directly on the ecu.

why?

with the stock turbo it won't go over 140 anyway. and before you upgrade the turbo you'll have a DSMLink in anyway.

i say leave it.
