New best run:
60': 1.684
1/8 : 7.79
MPH : 92.15
1/4 : 12.081
MPH : 115.83
This was with 22 lbs of boost, and no nitrous (weight
3220 w/ driver). I am having difficulty building and
holding boost which shouldn't be a problem with this
big of a turbo. My best MPH of the night was 116.42.
Not totally pleased, expected a little more, but not
bad for the boost levels I was running. Got 6 passes
in, and damn this thing is getting hard to drive.
On the way home noticed a buttload of white smoke, got
home pulled the intake and Wow! tons of oil. Looks
like I already blew this bad boy, its got some serious
shaft play and is making contact with the housing.
We'll see what Mike does to solve this problem,
hopefully I will be back on the road prior to imports, but
not likely.
Will have video later today, right Dave!
Greg
Also can you add me to the dragtimes page?

The is the SBR-M60 at SlowBoyRacing.com
It's basically the same thing as an FP Red, but with the internal gate.
It has a Mitsubishi 7cm exhaust housing, it bolts right up.
It will be repaired/replaced free of charge, spoke with Mike this morning. Problem is I probably won't have it back prior to Sept 21st-22nd

Awsome man. Thats a nice run. Beautifull 60' and that 1/8th mile time is amazing.

That problem your having building more boost is probably related to your internal wastegate. That big of a turbo plus high boost is probably generating a ton of manifold pressure and blowing the wastegate open.

Is there a list of mods for your car somewhere? Was that pump or race gas?
I can't believe the 60ft. That looked awesome! I saw the video. I noticed that your 1-2 shift had some lag. Were you shifting easy or was the car just taking it's time to rejet some more fuel in there and just causing a lil hiccup as my car tends to do some times. .. If you can, I'd nail the throttle and not let up between shifts if you are not doing that yet. You might end up with a better time.
Stiff suspension! What setup do you have? Agx's? What setting. What tires and pressure level are you running? I'd really like to know. thx.
... congrats.

The 60' was pretty decent for the amount of spin going on. I am running stock shocks/struts, soon to be replaced. I have Rota Slipstream 16' wheels which weight 13lbs/piece. I have Nitto NT555R Drag's at 40 psi. Can't wait to get back up to the track. Will not make it to imports though, since it's pointless to go up without all the required safety equipment which I will not be able to obtain prior to the 21st. Also my dad is coming into town that weekend, and I don't see him very often.
Greg
Web Cams 546/547. What? 2.3L stroker motor? I guess I haven't been keeping up with the times. Did you bore it out to get a 4g63 to a 2.3. Yeah. I guess. You said 2g head. Hum. that's scary. Web cams at 546/547, that high? I thought our lil dsms couldn't handle much more than 272/272 w/o the chance of hitting valves? But i'd figured that you do higher compression ratio than 8:5:1 esp. if you have those cams. Do you have a hard time starting the car or keeping idle? ... Tell me more.. mooorre innpuuut. It doesn't compute.
p.s. 13.5lbs in tires? wow. and you're still screaching in 2nd gear at least, what i hear on the video.

Read the complete post, 40 psi in the tires, the rims weight 13 lbs.
The motor is a 4g63 block with a 4g64 crank, 4g63 Eagle rods, and custom pistons 8.5:1.
With the Web Cam 546/547's the intake lift is .400" and the exhaust lift is .385". The intake duration is 272 degrees and the exhaust duration is 256 degrees. Maybe, that will help you out.
And, yes, the tires did chirp into second although I was shifting like a bitch.
