so here it is. come october i want the fuel system done on the car. heres what i'm looking at so far. ah, the pump, yeah thats about it.:p

i'm trying to decide whether i really need to get the DSMLink this soon. isn't it possible to run fine with just an AFPR, pump and good guages? or would it be better to get the Link and pump first, then worry about the appropriate injectors later on?

but heres the list of fuel stuff i'll need as it stands-

walbro pump -on order
spoolin afpr (see van's earlier post for details :)) - will order
-6an line - has
stock return line (just gonna leave it on) - has
FP guage - has
k&n filter - has
DSMLink - will order

you guys see anything im missing?any suggestions on a more effective system?

I'd leave the stock lines alone. Too many people run too fast on the stock lines and stock filter to waste money there until you need too.

I'm hearing the spoolinup afpr is hard to come by now days. I thought someone recently posted a SX fpr for sale in the for sale forum. I don't know if Dave already got it or not? Aeromotive makes a nice afpr I hear.

Big pump, stock lines and an afpr is what I'd go with. Although you'll have to redo the rail's outlet fitting to hook up an afpr.

For the pump, walbro 255 or a supra unit. I see you already ordered that.
For injectors on a 2g I'd go with 650's and call the Fuel Injector Clinic for them.

I'd get the dsmlink and start playing with it asap. Get to know what works and what doesn't now. ;)

yeah spoolin is out of stock. but!, there is another company on the east coast that gets their afpr's built by the same company, same price, everything. i was just think i should pick up a 1g rail off the trader or junkyard, clean the crap out of it and use that until 2g afpr's are available. RRE also has a Sard replacement afpr thats made for the 2g rail for $100ish. hhmmmm, maybe.

i was thinking 650s might be too big on my car til i get a 20g sized turbo in. maybe 600s could work then i'd have to almost max them.

the dsmlink will help, but if you think about it, guys were running good times even before piggybacks and stand alones were out. so i was just gonna go old school and see how it fairs out.:p
