1g Tranny in a 2g ?

Will a 1g Tranny bolt up to 2g motor?

Do I just swap the bracket for the frame mount?

Any thing to watch out for ?

It's an AWD 23 spline Tranny that I'm looking at installing in a '97 AWD.

It will bolt to the block

It will bolt to the chassis on the passenger side

The front roll stop will not bolt up

The rear roll stop will not bolt up

So... it will fit... if you only want two motor mounts :)

If you have a "donor" 2g tranny, you can swap case parts to get the roll stops to work.

Hum... well I was planning on buying a 1g tranny and using it while I slowly rebuild my '97 tranny with all the nice upgrades, but that might be out of the question if I have to use parts of it's case on the 1g tranny :(
