Woohoo. I totally forgot how mean this car sounded hehe. Anyways after about 12 hours of work yesterday and another 6 today I finally got the car to the point that I could start it. Fired right up the first time :).

I ran it through all the gears and everything was working except 5th so it turns out when i re-assembled it I put the 5th and reverse sleve in wrong... Ewwps.

So here is what I got done today and yesterday:

1.) Measured bearing races in the tranny
2.) Assembled and installed tranny
3.) Turbo Installed
4.) Added an AN-6 return line with an SX regulator
5.) Welded my wideband O2 bung in
6.) Finished everything underneath such as cross members, axles, t-case, downpipe.

I still have yet to do:

1.) Install the Wideband O2 kit
2.) Correct my camber
3.) Finish mounting my sx regulator and map sensor
4.) Intake and IC piping
5.) Install my passengers seat
6.) Guages
7.) Set my base fuel pressure.

I should have it done by the 2nd. :)

LOL! Yeah congrats Dave, that's a buttload of stuff...

I managed to get some HKS cams in the other day and finally got my GReddy fuel pressure gauge mounted up today. Which btw is a green light gauge, lol.
Everything else is orange and I have one green gauge in this bank of orange on the dashtop now.

Yeah its enough stuff to make you wanna take a day off from work to get it done. So I'm going to see if I can get either tuesday or weds off and finish it. I'm also going to wire up a switch for my fuel pump so I don't have to carry around a jumper lead all the time to drain the tank.

So Dave after you broke your crank in half did you have Western rebuild it again or did you do it yourself. Just wondering

The only damage was the crank and bearings. I gave the new crank to western along with the old one and asked them to make sure they will work. I had the new crank shotpeened and magnafluxed as well.

Hey Dave I have a quick question for you do you know what you set your piston to wall clearance at for your Ross pistons. The spec sheet I got with the pistons says to gap them at .006 that seems like way to much. Terry agrees and thinks they should be at about .040 do you know what he ended up setting yours at?

He also told me he is going to check out my crank which hasn't been turned and another crank that has to see whether or not the factory really did Nitrade harden our cranks from the factory. So will finally know whether it's fact or fiction.

Nope I don't remember the specs on the clearances.

I'd be curious to see what he comes up with.
