FYI. I was happy to see all who showed up. MAN! Some of you guys i haven't seen in, like, many months. Or since the last picnic. I wish we had a chance to get together more often.
For those who didn't show up we had fun learning who did what to their cars, had a car show and prizes. (Brian can post who won and their prize if he can) and just hanged out for a while. I didn't get the winners pics on my camera so someone else out there will have to do that. Dave! can you put them on our website somewhere? I will have some too, later.
But, frankly, I was surprised at those who came decided to bug out early. I know the open fire restriction put a damper on the picnic part but Brian DID spend a LOT of money this year for a park site that had about 12 picnic tables, 3 or 4 scenic overlooks, a volleyball lot and many walking trails and the shore to skip rocks on nearby. I was hoping someone would have used the premises for what we rented it out for.
Well, I digress. It was still fun but our events were not planned far enough in advance to organize a multi event environment this year. Short lived; but fun nun-the-less.
FYI. Brian was the most instrumental in this years event so don't forget to thank him for his first big event hosting!!!
THX Brian!!!!
If you guys are interested, we can do this again next year and have all this time to plan on something B I G !! I don't want to spoil the surprise, but I have the idea/s of having something that would be at least, twice as big than last years event. If you can imagine?
