How about we have a haunted house field trip for ourselves and any other dsmer (ie coDSMers) if interested? We were talking of one last year, but I don't remember what became of it.
After visiting one or more of our local favorite haunted houses we can go somewhere (maybe my place if not tooo late) and have a inaugural pumpkin toss/smash party. :D Only stipulation, we have to clean up our mess afterwards. :p

I'm game.... but then again anything that gets me out of the house for awhile is a good idea :P I dont do much since my gf went home for school :( Anyways if nothing else movie night was rather interesting :P

Its a good idea to plan another "field trip" but haunted houses just aren't my thing. I get scared :(

Also being as how I live even farther away now (Lafayette, CO) it makes it hard for me to get down that way. If you guy make some concrete plans then I shall try to attend.

Yeah, I'm not big on haunted houses either. They are quite expensive now-a-days and I can't justify paying money to have someone scare me. I'd rather spend that money playing pool and drinking beer or something like that. Anyone up for a RMDSM meet at Dave & Busters???? :)

I'm game to do that as well. What day(evening) is this? D&B is a better idea, but isn't it alot like Fat City only more expensive and doesn't have a bowling alley?? I think a lil bowling could be real fun again. Or maybe a lil pool? Either one we goto, I would hope we have those options if we feel up to doing that for the evening.
Does D&B just have arcade games mostly? I'd spend too much $$ in there. ... Your thoughts guys?

Anything with a bowling alley, or pool sounds fine to me. I too could spend WAY too much money on video games.

From my last time there I recall that Dave and Busters is no more than a big video gamers theme park. They do serve food and some alcohol as well. :) But I'm not sure I like the place as well as Fat City. Fat City is alot alike, but they have a few pool tables and like 40 isles of bowling with many big screen tv's and such. .. I'd figure if we can do something else than just drop quarters in the machines at D&B, I'd be game. But if anyone else would prefer Fat City instead, I'd rathar go there instead. Fat City is located off of Kipling and Coal mine if interested.

Yeah, Fat City sounds cool too. I've never heard of it, otherwise I would have suggested it too. As long as they have pool tables, I'm down. Anyone wanna play for money?? ;)

Why don't we plan this for Friday, November 8th? That's the day before the car show up in Denver. I know for a fact that Dallas and Dave will already be up in Denver with nothing to do! :)

And speaking of which......Dave, post the URL for that show on here so everyone knows about it.

For pool go to D&B

For 12 year old girls go to Fat City

For 21+ year old girls go to D&B

For watered down beer go to Fat City

For good beer and harder alcohol go to D&B

For video games go to both they are about the same.

Friday the the 8th is when car show entrants will be rolling in otherwise I would join you guys. Let me know if the date changes. I haven't been to D&B. I don't like leaving my car at that bowling alley. Too many hoodlems and delinquents there. Does D&B have pool tables. I'll whip all yall. <challenge.

Hey Alan. Dave and I are also dropping our cars off and prepping them for the show on the 8th, but afterwards we're gonna go to D&B. You should come with us if you can. And yes they do have pool tables. I'll bring some competition for ya, and Dallas will too.

Dave, That's a negative at this point. No ride. I know my friend Jeff with that VR4 I mentioned is going to the show. I'll see what he has lined up.

Karl, I could be home at 5:45pm Friday the 8th. Then you can follow me to the show by driving my '80 Toyota Pick Up. Then we can go to D&B from there in the truck and I'll drive you home Friday night. Then I just have to get a ride from someone back to the show on Saturday. Lemme know if that works for you or I could pick you up on my way home for you to get to my place Friday.

Just fyi.. Jeff and I rolled in to the Convention Center when the doors opened at 1pm and hardly anyone was there until 5 to 7pm.

If your thinking you have to be there right at 2pm you don't but then the earlier the better and more time at D&B.

I can meet you at say around 1:15pm somewhere. Off the top of my head I am thinking we meet at the Best Buy parking lot on the northeast corner of I-25 and Mississippi. Then all we gotta do is get on I-25 to I-70 head west and we are there.

If we can make meeting a little later that would help me but early will work. I still need to figure out a ride situation for me from the show either home to get my truck or to D&B then home. Then back on Saturday to have everything ready by Noon. I have a message to my friend Jeff to find out his plan. Lemme know if you can help.

Sounds Good!

They have a competition for Ultra Car Club. When I registered I put down RMDSM as the club. I don't know if you all did that or not. But there will be a sheet we fill out when we roll in for each car and you put in the car class and club so if you want we can all park together for the club and see what happens. UP2U.

Dave and I also put Rocky Mountain DSM down for our car club. We will be arriving at the same time and parking together, so if you meet us there at the same time we can all get spots next to each other. Representin RMDSM!! :D
