Well lets start off with day 1. Alan, myself and patrick dropped our cars off friday and began the scrubbing process of getting them all detailed. Only a few dropped their cars off that day but we figured it would be better doing it early so we didn't have to fight to get some space.

Lots of domestics showed up but they segregated them. Imports on one side of the complex and domestics on the other.

On day 2 which is when everyone else rolled in, we started setting up the displays and getting all ready for the 2pm opening. One of the supra guys was very helpfull in the fact he had some touch up paint that matched perfectly on my car.

Dallas, Alan and Patrick took tons of pics and hopefully we can get them posted soon. But RMDSM had tons of people looking closely at all 3 cars. Most everyone that looked at mine had their mouths dropped to the floor, even the judges.

I can't remember the tv crews name but there were some people looking for nice cars to do videos of like how motortrend does them. So I thought this would be kinda cool but we'll see what happens.

So the final results are 1st place went to Alan and I got 2nd place. But if we want to enter for best club we need like 8 cars to do it. Three just isn't enough.

Overall not a bad show :)

I had never heard of you guys until last night at the show....I spend a lot of time at DSMtuners.com but I wanted to get involved in something local. So now I'm a member! Perhaps next time I can add to the showing total.

Welcome to the group :)

Yah I have nothing better to do than watch for new posts late night and early morning hours when normal people are sleeping... and of course all day while I'm at work... amazingly boring job with nothing to do... *sigh*

Welcome to the club :)

Last night was our very first entry as a club. Alan had been to shows before but myself and patrick never have.

So all in all I would say it was a very good first time entry :)

First and second place for DSM class?? Damn I would have owned that one, but I figured I would just let you guys get a little glory for once. :D j/k Good job all three of you!!!!!!!

Sorry I didn’t get back to you guys, my gf was being a spoiled brat so I had to go. I was VERY surprised at how clean you guys got your cars and those posters you made up were a very nice touch.

My car will be up to "my standards" for the next event and I will be able to join the ranks w/ you.

Good Job!!!!

Yeah all three of us busted our asses for days to get them ready. I'm hoping next time we can enter in as a club with more than three cars. Maybe if we can get 8 or so.

All three of our cars looked like they were never driven and I really didn't want to drive it home after it looked sooooo clean :).

Good job cleaning the car up and fixing your pop up,I hardly recognized it.

My friend is putting on the Lethal Auto Salon next June and it should be the biggest in Denver to date and the feature sponsors are Vands and ESPN2.
I'll post some more info soon.

Actually we were just passing through as my friend knew somebody there and we did a quick tour. I did see the new coils and that setup does look clean.

My 2 cents. We are going to work on our display also for next time. I giant banner. Some ground effects possibly and lighting. Dave and Patrick had huge mods lists printed up that were great for the the judges and everyone. It was a fun day. I am working on my set of pictures and should have them on a CD for Dave real soon. Glad to see people took notice of the club. All 3 cars looked great. Patricks car gets so much attention with that turbo sitting up there where everyone can see. Even I was impressed. Good job guys.

--Alan.

PS. Damn I like my trophy. (i had to say it)

It involves a rubber band, 3 paper clips and a particle accelerator. Very few of us can get it right. Everyone else that tries either ends up in a very embarrasing situation or very dead, or more commonly, BOTH.
