OK I am just wondering what kind of power gains or what not I would look at recieving from one... Also would one work with a FP Red??? I think that is the turbo that I am going with...

I'm going with one. The major advantage is all same length runners, smoother flow since it's not cast iron, more exhaust flow if the runners are larger, and the ability to header wrap them. You'll see a solid power gain of a couple of HP probably with a good header, and if they are aimed right, a nice decrease in spool time on the turbo.

check the bottom header out.

So are they saying that header will work for any turbo???

LoL, allow me to clarify. Mitsubishi heavy industries have different flange types than Garrets. With exception to the hybrids (technically the 2G T25 and the T28/Big T28 fall into this category) That bottom header will fit the mitsu type flange which is everything the STOCK header will bolt up to. The one above it I believe is a tubular for a garret style flange. Make sure that you get the right flange for your turbo, if you are planning on running the FP Red I believe it is the stock type mitsu flange (correct me if I'm wrong Dave/Hal). So the Bottom header would be the correct choice.

That's cool and clears it all up for me. Boy you are a plethera(sp?) of info you need write a book!!!
If you go with a FP Red turbine, you will likely have a larger housing and the stock flange will have an opening to small. .. If I read this correctly, you are talking about the flange/gasket that is placed between the manifold and the turbine housing. The factory housing was much smaller (gauged by the inlet diameter) I beleve it was like 5cm. The Red will have a larger inlet (7~8cm)and the stock gasket/flange will restrict it. You will likely order a flange when you order your turbo to match. Don't forget to port the header to match as well. .. However the header shown looks like it has a larger size outlet.

The tubular manifolds I listed have the larger openings.
