Where can I go around Aurora (preferably) and get a 3inch flex section and my exhaust cut and welded back together that doesnt give a damn if theres a cat or no? One place I talked to awhile back was talking $175 or so I believeto put the flex section in and what not.... was that a good deal or no? If not what kinda prices should I expect to find?

well from my experience no exhaust shop will weld a test pipe or anything like that without a slip saying that ur car is for off road racing or what not, like autocross or rally or something. I dont know of anyone that would do this locally anyone else do? I;m just going to get a 3 inch o2 elimantor downpipe and maybe thats it but that might be just a tad bit too loud(LOL) oh well cops in westminster really dont give anyone shit unless ur racing or something later, kevin.:p

for cutting my currnet pipe and putting a 3in flex pipe in and rewelding to the exhaust back together....

and I dont need them to do more than that Ghetto... already know of ONE place they fixed it the cheap way for me last time... I need it done right... as barking the tires when going WOT is a bit harsh on the a solid 1 piece welded exhaust with no (dont ask me why i didnt have it made) flex section in it...

plus I need 1 or 2 more hangers that apepar to be missing

what's your current exhaust? the only reason I ask is because you can get a new DP for that price....

as I said it was 1 piece dp to almost tip, had a bad flange, replaced and cleaned up the dp portion abit, but after it bolts to the O2 housing everything else is welded up to the last curve just at the rear wheels, bolt and gasket there and then it runs on to the muffler... I dont have a true DP, it was originally a stock one, cut and modified out to 3 inches and then welded to the rest of the 3in system

supposedly from what I was told is there is supposed to be a metal tie strap on the back of the block to assist the rubber hangers by the groundstrap in holding the pipe.... that is not there either which is something I want to get done also....

once the o2 bolts on, it starts to adapting out to 3inches, (4-6inches away from the o2 housing it hits 3 inches and is solid 3 all the way back... I believe its madrel bent after the DP bend... but I cant recall.....

btw, do you know what the top left fuse in the box under the hood is? (mines labeled FU E (B+) 60a fusable... (3rd letter possibly rubbed out?) its a 60a bolt in fuse....

I'll check in the morning for ya... And the strap to help it by the O2 housing isn't really needed, I don't run one. It's hard to get a "real" 3" DP because your O2 is 2.5" anyway, so they usually neck the last 2" of the DP down to fit it. A true 3" O2 housing you can get though.... My buschur is about 2 3/4" at the flange, about the same as a heavilly ported 2G O2 housing...
