Yeah I found that on an old post that I used the search button that I used:rolleyes: I should have done that before I posted the topic on here.
I just want to find all FMIC's that could work and find the best one....

Diamond Star Motor has some good spearco cores. I want the 720 dollar street core only. It friggan huge. It would definently turn some heads on the street. I want to cut my bumper the same way to.

If you have a big turbo, pressure drop is NOT an issue.

Yeah that is true. Those prices are really good on those also....

I had a very hard time getting an intercooler from Indy. In fact I cancelled the order after I found out the guy who took my order wasn't "in the loop". Aahh! I gave him my credit car number!
I used DSMotorsport . Nathan Crisman is a really cool guy, and he's been in the DSM world for a very long time.
We ended up with the 221 race model, with polished tubing for our Mirage.
Local guy John Erickson has one installed on his 91 GSX and it fits very well.
Just my .02...

look at either the 2-216 or the 2-221 cores.
personally, i'd go with the larger core. someday you may want to go full blown with the car, so why upgrade the fmic twice.

That is what I was thinking. I am going with the largest core. I know what you are talking about...

I've got my indy, I contacted them directly for it though.... it will be a while before it's on the car though...
I *was* going t go with IRC for a new FMIC, but I think I'm going to go with the B/R Race Core and 3" UIC piping.
That's not *firm* yet.

I really liked the way that the pipes mount on the indy... no snaking around, just straight up to the TB...

so where are you gonna relocate the coolant overflow bottle too? thats the only question i have with their 2g kits.
Bargain! (http://www.prostreetonline.com/pso/pages/services/intercooler.asp)
This is probably the kit I'm going to use.

if i had a vpc that would be a great kit to run.
but i'm stuck dumping the bov into the intake.:(

Since we're gutting the entire engine bay and redoing EVERYTHING I think I will run a different overflow and run a water temp sensor in the bottom area of the radiator to an aftermarket gauge... since I won't have a low coolant light anymore it is safer to put a coolant temp sensor there so you know when you're overheating.... I've known people to blow their engines because they had a coolant leak and didn't know it till too late :( Either way though, the only reason I'm going with most the stuff I'm going with is because EVERYTHING is being redone... bumper to bumper...

why not just use the oem water temp sender? works on mine. temps on the guage respond fast depending on how and when im driving.

mine has 150,000 miles on it... I'd rather replace everything and anything while I have it appart.
