ok after replacing my master cylinder and lines to the slave, i thought everything was going fine until lately, driving home the other day i couldnt get up past around 12 psi then it would seem like i had no boost even though my gauge would read all the way to 15. i was gonna inspect today so i took it for a spin and it did the same thing for about 15 mins, on the way back home it seemed like the clutch wouldnt dis engage so i tried to get it home because i was close and ended up destroying the clutch. smelled like ass but oh well time for a new one. i was looking on ebay and just wondering what is so bad with exedy. they are alot cheaper is there really a good reason everyone goes with act? please explain, and let me know if you have any ideas what the hell is up with my car

thanks for the time
chad

post your mods. Best clutches out there are ACT clutches.

it depends on the type of racing you are gonna do and how much you like your tranny. i recommend the CFDF for autox and street, and the act2600 for drag.

but thats my opinion

mods
upper ic pipe with 1g bov
hallman boost control
boost and air fuel gauges

while the car is down
front mount
all new ic piping
exhaust
14b turbo for now
lots of port work
fuel pump
injectors and fuel control

this summer
new engine with 1g rods
port work on the head and intake mani
maybe largewr turbo

nothing to serious but enough for a nice clutch that is for sure
mainly drag and a little road race

any ideas now?

if its a main use will be drag, get the act 2100 or 2600 depending on the size of the turbo you plan to run.

Even if your only plans are not to drag...you know you are going to race so you might as well get at least a 2100... make sure you get all the directions right like stepping the flywhel down though... or you could do the half ceramic thing I hear they are decent...Hell what do I know I own an automatic:rolleyes:

i dont think so im considering it because it is a little more streetable. i plan on some drag racing but not alot so the 2600 is still in question just because it can hold up well

the 2600 is the best clutch youre going to get for your car. Dont touch the CFDF.
