I know it's short notice but a bunch of us from HAI are heading down to the Springs to meet up with some COSR members that have been trolling on HAI. Particularly a few Mustangs. ;)

I figure it's gonna be cold for the next week and this is the only decent night for going out so I decided to make the drive and have some fun.

Anyone interested?
We're meeting at the Park Meadows SoundTrack at 8 and will be leaving at 8:30.

i would go if you can put a clutch in my talon in the next 30 mins:) only other option is street racing in my jeep, ya thats no fun

Well,it was a pretty mellow scene and the only race that happened was between a guy who goes by Green Domino who has a Mustang GT with a $500 programmed chip plus a whole mess of other goodies and slicks and shane (green two tone with rust 280Z on slicks also).
I guess shane laid the smack on him as the Mustang had traction issues. I'm sure there will be a rematch when the strip opens soon.


I did have some fun once we left the Springs and was tailed by a 2nd gen GS-T ('95-'96 green with an white IDRC sticker on the side windows,do we know him?) and a late 80s 5.0. Both races were from a 70mph roll and to make a long story short I just had too much turbo and pulled nicely on both.

I believe the Eclipse, might be a guy named, Marvin. To my knowledge he has nothing for mods...

That car sounds familiar to me too.....bought a 1G BOV from a guy named Marvin in a car like that!

No the 2g 95 Eclipse is my friend chris..

He said you guys were pretty even on the highway..

The other mustang was luke..

He is on a t-25 turbo.. and a cat back.. stock boost..

Even?? Not quite,I was able to put lenghts on him at will,at one point I was several lenghts behind him and passed pretty easily but that should be obvious with an 18G vs a T-25.
If he wants a rematch then I'm up for it.

No hard feelings but I had a big advantage on him.

Yea he has a t-28 that he is selling.. he use to have on his car..

He is selling that and putting something else on..

His friend wants to race you.. he has a 2nd gen eclipse..

18 psi on a t-25 is a waste and is slowing you down. Racing from a roll is for chumps in slow cars or cars that are too fast for their own good. Judging from the fact that he has a T-25....

I'm up for anything plus I should be boosting 20 psi shortly so hopefully I can overcome the added weight of AWD.

Like i said this isn't me.. this is a friend of mine.. i have nothing to do with this race.. My car is waiting a trip to arizona. I don't vring it out to much yet..
