View Full Version : Do you spend more time driving, fixing or upgrading your DSM?

That's right... we often hear about the DSM that's down while undergoing upgrades or never-ending fixes. We rarely see the obvious posts saying "hey my car runs today". So which is it for you right now?

I would definitely have to vote for fixing it. You know you own a DSM when it's regular practice to drop your insurance to "storage" for a couple of months out of the year. :p

Hopefully this summer I can vote "driving it" or maybe even "upgrading it."

Mine has had it's periods of downtime but over all I've been able to keep mine on the road.
Part of it has to do with the fact that I only mod a little each year depending on my budget but for the last year I've been able to leave the the 14 second timeslips behind and hopefully will cut off another half second of my 1/4 mile.

This will be my cars 8th season racing the car and I now have 114k on the motor.
