k, i believe it is supposed to be in runner 1, but how close to the engine? how far away in the mani should it be?
and, what temps should i see at cruise, and at WOT. whats safe, whats to hot. wots a good warning spot. all the usual. thx!

thats helps install. what temps should it be? it dosent give what is proper at WOT. and i need a better warning then 1700, gauge only reads 16.

check out www.roadraceengineering.com. look around their site and you will find temps. somewhere. sorry, i don't remember exactly where to look but i'm sure you'll find it.

its under the tech articles section
id try to stay below 1600*F. using the jumptronics and and egt will get you pretty good tuning. but running a dsmlink and wb is prolly as close to perfect as you can get.

well, at idol im running 800*f
at wot, with 1.1 bar, with the stock fuel pump i was running 1350-1400*f
at wot, 1.1 bar, with the HP 255, wasnt even breaking 1300
on both, i am running .97-.99 volts on the o2. i think its safe to say im running rich.

oh yeah.
if you thermal wrap the DP, keep the heat sheild on and construct a box to seperate the intake from the engine bay, you should see your egts drop by another 50* degrees
