like it says, how many volts should i read at WOT. whats "the best", whats rich, whats lean. how mant volts should "scare me" and be a warning. thanks!

its hard to say because every car is different. i could be rich .93v while you are lean.

the best way i know who is high rpm, WOT, 3rd gear. thats you racing gear anyway. but somewhere areound .93v is fine, unless your egts start climbing.

= BAD!
= GOOD

ok, at the moment, on 1.1 bar, im running .98/.97 volts. i wont have the egt in till tommarow, but as of now, it looks like suprisingly enough, im running on the big 28, over 15 psi, with stock fuel. hum......

also, with the egt tommarow, the high pressure walbro 255 will be goin in, with a rewire. this may be interesting. with the correct monitors in place now :), imma try for 1.2-1.25bar. thoughts? should i even mess with it?

I hate A/F gauges. Just buy a logger

The digital guage is the same reading that comes off any logger. Why hate em?

If your O2 sensor isn't up to par then yes it won't be accurate.

you cant drive around staring at a logger all the time either. so if loggers are the end all be all, why run a boost guage? you can log that too. why need a speedometer or tach?

having guages lets you know if there is an immediate problem. but thats my opinion.

Ok, who said Art could have an opinion?

And beyond that, who said it could be the same as mine?

I agree, gauges can be used for tuning, loggers can be used for tuning, but loggers aren't very effective warning devices.

who said that you said that i said we have the same opinion?

i only run a logger cause there is no knock or airflow guages yet. BRAINSTORM! digital airflow meter. easy money for the honduh guys. "my coldair is flowing 10lb/min fool!"

I am not going to have any gauges other then a EGT gauge. It is all going on the logger.... hmmm maybe not! Yeah I suppose you are right about that... what about that 'knockbox' that they were supposed to come out with???

never heard of it. there is a way to hook up an LED to the knock sensor wire. but it doesnt give a numbered value. loggers have it converted. but if someone found a way to place that program on a small box, tap the sender, and mount a small digital guage. it would be a gold mine.

hm...I think this has been done already!! Unless you guys are talking about something else maybe?

http://www.pocketlogger.com/?page=prod&prod=kb (if that doesn't work for some reason for any of you, try just going to pocketlogger.com, and click on the link to go to the "KnockBOX" part...

not bad! .... instant view of knock, timing, and O2 volts...

it looks like they're working on a version of it for the 2g people too :)
