Well last night was a bit interesting. Car did not overheat YAY.

First run was a shakedown run to make sure the timing and everything was working. I made a few passes on the nitrous. Best with the N2O was 12.6@113.27mph and I shut the nitrous off halfway down the track. After a nitrous backfire we stopped running it.

The best we did w/o the N2O was 12.92@110.85mph. The rest of the night I was troubleshooting an ignition problem. So now I need to figure out what the hell is goin on with the system.

The launches are getting better. We ran 1.9 60's most of the night. My last run I stayed at the light for like 2 seconds waiting for the motor to ramp up. It would go to 3krpm's then stop then for some reason it would do what it was supposed to. *SHRUG*

Sorry I left early w/o sayin good night to anyone but I was in a pissy mood after this problem appeared. But hey its a new problem. None of the previous problems appeared again.

No worries Dave, I think many of us would have been just as pissy about recurring problems. As soon as FedEx sees it's way clear to drop off my stuff I'll come give you a hand. On a plus note your driving is getting a LOT better :)

This isn't a reoccuring problem like some people think. Still trying to find the actual problem. Hopefully diagnose it tomorrow.

Well we found the vac. leak. Sometime yesterday one of the screws in the throttle body that holds the throttle plate in came out. My guess is it was during the last N2O run.

Tomorrow morning I'm taking the head off the car and spend this weekend going over everything.

Talk about fun.

Found a few more problems after the head came off. All the intake runners are covered in oil but the UIC pipe is dry.

The honeycomb in the maf was blown out.

Fun fun fun.

After close examination we've come to find out that there was a loose nut behind the wheel too...
