I dont think I've ever heard of this happening... I got my 660s in, and started the car up.. It idles at around 2k rpms, and when I tap the gas, the HORN goes off 5 short times.
What the...
Yes, I have DSMlink. No, the logs show me nothing.
I'm sorry, but...
Buwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Ha!
That's freakin' hilarious Quinn! The horn is blowing, hehehe.
Basically I think you should just backtrack anything you undid or worked around. I assume that you have an alarm or some shit. It's gotta be a wire you bumped & grounded out or unhooked. A vacuum leak will cause a high idle. ;)

Quinn, maybe in the future when you need wire to splice something in you shouldn't borrow it from random things under the hood :)

Then why are your injectors hooked to your horn? Is it like a NOS booster on 2F2F? You honk the horn and you go faster?

LMAO, now that we've all had fun at Quinn's expense. You've probably either shorted, grounded, or accidentally disconnected a wire for the horn, find it, and trace the wire back.

I think it might be the horn relay - if we have one. Where would it be?
ANd any ideas on why the damn car sounds like a CHAINSAW? It revs fine - just idles at 2k rpms....
I'll be checking the TPS here soon so maybe thats it too...

its kind of hard to screw up an injector swap. remove power from battery, unbolt fuel rail, pivot, unplug injectors, remove, swap, reverse order, tune.
i think its one of those screwy dsm days. upgrade one thing, 2 others go down.

The reason I ask if they're knew is how sure are you they're 660's?

I know that they are NDs - and the guy sent the original reciept he got when purchasing them a few months ago. Dunno... How about someone put up a photo of some ND 660s and i'll tell ya if they are them...

Just went to Turbotrix.com and checked (thats where he got them) and the pic they have is identical to my injectors. So I DO have 660s....
Next theory?
