View Full Version : wierd light help??

i started getting a coolant light after i got the car back on the road and its really starting to piss me off. it started around corners and steep hills no its coming on alot more. i drained and refilled the radiator changed the thermostat and still cant figure it out. could the sensor be going bad or maybe a faulty water pump? i think ive herd of this happening before so if anyone has any ideas please let me know.

If its a 1g that light is the overflow bottle. Not sure about a 2g.

Not all 2g's....my friends '95 has that but my '99 does not.

My '95 had it then it stopped working as I've run it dry one too many times. I bet your 99 did if the sensor was hooked up and or working.

They are wired into the overflow tank, correct??? Mine is just a bare tank on the bottom...nothing like my friends '95.
