well i'm still searching for the next turbo. i have narrowed down the search. ss44 or a new FP. but i want to run an external gate on this one.

so i've been looking at getting a 38mm tial with a 1.1bar spring. anyone see anything wrong with this? should i just go for the 400mm?

Not sure which FP you mean... but if it's the 3055 or 3065 You'll need to run a 40mm TiAL or larger because the way they weld up...

Secondly... I think that there are a few different turbos in that range that might be good, we'll be testing one shortly if you can wait...

Thirdly, I don't even think honda boys need a WG as big as a 400mm :p

there are a few guys out testing a turbo that hasnt been publicly released yet. mandy knows, maybe she'll give ya some insight.

i prolly won't upgrade for a few more months. just gather all the information i can right now. hopefully this will be my end all be all turbo.

I think I may know which one you're talkin about... I know all the good 44lb/min turbos avail right now and we ended up going with a different one than you have listed... we'll be putting it on her car soon so we will have the chance to tell you what it's like.

"-32 44lb/min CHRA with T3 cover with 3" inlet. 49 A/R turbine housing.
Spool is similar to Big28, some report better boost recovery between
shifts than the Big28. It is a special order turbo that takes a week or
so to build. Price is $1375 and includes the port job and internal
gate.
Compressor maps for the -32 GT25 CHRA are easy to find, but I cant send
you one, they watch me. - Robert"

Yes I am waiting for testing results from Mandy. If its just like a B28, why upgrade? to any 48trim turbo, its a waste.

I'm just looking at all my options. If worst comes to worst, I'll go with a stand by TD05-20G.

Uhm, the BT28 doesn't support 44lb/min so a turbo that's as fast but puts out more air sounds good to me... The one we have has the same type of setup but it's $1500 with everything (oil feed line, etc)
