Which cams? I was thinking HKS 272 considering their reputation, but also considering crower stage 2 or 3 becuase of the price. Has anyone tried these cams?

it depends a lot on your setup. what turbo are you running? AMS did a dyno shootout between the major cams with a 1G/16g car. i am trying to find the link right now. the HKS 264/264 combo was clear and away the best if i remember right. it made the same horsepower as the 272's but made power way lower in the rpm range as well. the 264/272 made no more power and slowed down turbo response and off boost power. now if you have a 20g or larger, it's a different story....

if that won't work just go to their site and its's easy to find. like i said, the 264/264 seemed to be the best in terms of "all around performance"....fast spoolup, BETTER(!) off boost response, and still made a lot more power. the 272/272 combo is the clear choice for a track car according to them. they only made 2 more horsepower than the 264's and made 10lb/ft less torque. the crower stage 3's looked like the worst in the test. they made decent numbers but couldn't spool a 16g untill 3700rpms!!!WTF is that??? so IMO: up to 20g-HKS264/264; 20g or larger and/or drag car-HKS272/272:)
