Hey does anyone know where I would hook up my HKS fuel cut defencer? I bought it off ebay and it didnt come with any instructions. If anyone has any idea how to hook it up please help me out

alright But someone has to tell me how to hook it up Do you have the latest import tuner? it has three mods that claim to up your HP by 106 it is a HKS fcd, a downpipe and A 255 lph fuel pump

Oh god!!! Are you looking at the dyno charts on import spooner? Okay, it made 290 whp for about 1k rpm. It also drops down to 180 whp again(where it starts). Realistically its making what.. about 230 whp if even? What a waste of an article. Are you going to run open downpipe like they did too, cause they surely didn't list a catback. And the walbro gaining it 20-30 whp ? uh... don't think that was the only case.

Ok lets think realistically here. HKS FCD is a waste of $$$. Put in some larger injectors and tune it with an s-afc. There problem solved
A downpipe doesn't do much good w/o a full exhaust to go with it. And yes it has to be the same size pipe all the way through. None of this 2" downpipe to 3" cat back crap.
Umm with a 255lph fuel pump all that you are doing is making sure there is enough fuel in the system. How is that going to help? Its not unless you have larger injectors to go with it. Oh and btw you have to upgrade the FPR too if your gonna run it.
If you wanna learn the correct way of doing things ask and do some reasearch.

He didn't come on here asking to tune his AFC and bigger injectors, he came to ask how to install a FCD for a CHEAP way to get away from fuel cut. I'd personally like to know if it works and how good it actually works.

I wasn't critisizing what he was looking for. I was debating Import TOONER's method of getting 100+ hp.

Also, if you read their writeup on why they put a FCD in it and not hack the MAS like normal DSMer's do, they say it's because with a hacked mas, it will idle like crap, um..... not true. So much for import tooning :rolleyes: . Goodluck with the FCD though, I've heard of supras and mr2's using em but using em for a dsm is quite rare.
