Hey all I finally got my tranny in and everything is finally working right, EXCEPT my exhaust manifold was glowing red hot after I took it for a 20 min. spin any ideas on what is going on with my car?

Possibly super lean or super rich...

so how do I tell which it is? lean or rich?

O2 voltage should give you a hint.

The thing that heats up your exhaust manifold is your exhaust gas. Normally our stock cast iron manifold can take some heavy abuse (2G one, the 1G one is shite). If it's litterally glowing you're running HOT. I'd say lean as all hell.

I just threw in my fuel cut defencer would that have anything to do with it?

Not sure how it runs, can you log your O2 voltage?

Do it the old fashioned way. Pull the plugs and look at them.
